Sponsor a Turkey

For the first time, Animal Nation supporters have the opportunity to sponsor a turkey on our farm sanctuary this year! By sponsoring one of the feathered friends at Animal Nation you can help us care for the flock year round.

There are currently five turkeys on the farm. Learn more about them and choose your favorites to sponsor!

Tommy

Tommy is one of three white turkeys found dumped near a reservoir. Tommy is a contemplative sort - he loves sitting in the sun and feeling the warmth on his little face. We can only imagine what he's thinking about!

Tanner

We don't know why these three white turkeys were dumped, but one theory is that someone bought these three with the intention of having them for Thanksgiving dinner and then couldn't bring themselves to butcher them. Tanner can be a bit bashful but is always down to sit and chat beside the barn and get a little pet on his chest feathers.

Lala

The last of the white turkeys is Lala. She is extremely sweet and friendly - she'll let our volunteers pet her soft feathers as she closes her eyes and enjoys the massage!

Tank

Tank is a beautiful brown turkey we took in from Pace University after they shut down their farm program. He loves spending time in the barn and balancing on the roosts with his giant feet!

Teddy

Last but not least is Teddy. He is one independent turkey! He accepts love from afar and doesn't cuddle like his friend Lala, but he likes to watch over the farm. He's the smallest of the turkeys at the farm, but he has no idea.
